Roland S. Reed

Roland S. Reed, age 82, of Bath, NY died Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Mr. Reed was born in Savona, NY on February 2, 1941, the son of George K. and Flora (Barkley) Reed. He worked at the Babcock Ladder Co. of Bath, NY and was known as a handyman to his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his children; Yvonne Reed of Holley, NY, Jeffrey (Marissa) Reed of Hammondsport, NY and Suzette Reed of Bath, NY, granddaughter Christa Jacobs of Holley, NY, brother Benjamin Reed of Laughlin, NV; sisters, Eldora 'Susie' Horner of Burbank, CA and Cheryl Rinick of Bath, NY and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Reed; brothers Walter Reed and George Reed and his sister Audrey Clark.
Family and friends are invited to the calling hours on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Almond, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA.
