Ronald F. Fries, age 82, of Hammondsport, NY died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital of Sayre, PA.
He was born May 5, 1933 in Prattsburgh, NY the son of Clair and Fannie (Lee) Fries.
He was a retired Air Force Veteran from the Presidential Squadron and very proud of his service time.
Mr. Fries was also a Bus Driver for the Bradford Central School for over 25 years.
He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed driving the sports teams buses.
He also enjoyed worked with his families electrical and plumbing business. He loved his family very much and especially the valuable time spent with his grandchildren.
He was a fun person to be with who had a great sense of humor and always a practical joke .
He is survived by his loving companion, Kathy Huey of Hammondsport, NY; sons, Timothy (Donna) Fries of Pine City, NY and Roderick Fries of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Jared, Zachary, Bryan and Thomas; four sisters, Shirley Fries, Nancy (Pete) Watson, Bonnie (Ronald) Schmidel and Judy Lewis (Jack), brother, William Fries of Hammondsport, NY and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Helen and sister Sally Strezepek.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 2, 2015 from 2:00-5:00 pm at Fagan's

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 3rd at 11:00 am at the Tyrone Methodist Church with Pastor Beth Kottemann officiating.
Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery, Bath on Monday at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Helen and Ronald Fries Scholarship
