Sandra Rebecca Hall Fleet, 75, wife of Gerald D Fleet, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20th, 2017 at the Guthrie Corning Hospital, after years of battling cancer.
Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Charles and Rebecca Hall. She graduated from Haverling Central School District.
She was a staple to both the Bath (NY) & Reading (PA) area for many years. Throughout her career, she worked in the finance/insurance industry. Upon retirement, she worked part time for the school district. Active in her community, she participated in community dinners, bible studies, and belonged to the Community Church. She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a love for Keuka Lake and picking grapes in the fall.
She is remembered for her ambition, positivity, strength, daily preaching's, love for Jesus, seasonal comfort cooking, and unconditional love for everyone.
Sandra is survived by husband Gerald D Fleet and his family;
her daughters; Bonnie Wilson Brutsman (Lenny); grandchildren, Joseph, Derek and Emily of Big Flats NY, Beth Wilson Kritz (David); grandchildren, Alex and Anthony of Loveland Ohio, Rebecca Wilson Berardi; grandchildren,
Angela and Michael of Wellsville NY, and Katie Hoyer (Yohnny);
grandchildren, Haven and George of Reading PA ; her sons, Richard Wilson (Charity); grandchildren,
Kara, Caitlin, Justin and Amanda of Corning
NY and Douglas Wilson (Naomi); grandchildren, Mimi, Aya, Ken and Mercedes of Wellsville NY, along with
13 great grandchildren, her sister,
Linda Hall Marvin (Neltson) and
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Phoebe Hughey Gilmore and granddaughter Christina
Rose Berardi.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00-5:00 pm on Wednesday January 25th at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 W. Morris St., Bath, NY with a memorial service to immediate follow at 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a fund that will be set up for an annual golf tournament in her memory.
