Sarah G. 'Sally' Pospiech

Sarah "Sally" G. Pospiech, age 99, of Bath, NY, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Taylor Health Center of Bath, NY.
She was born October 21, 1917 in Cohoes, NY.
Sally retired from the Bath VAMC after 25 years working in Food Service where she enjoyed spending time with the veterans. She also was a baker at the Chat-A-Whyle Restaurant in Bath and worked at the Bath Drive-in for many years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church in Bath where she worked as the crossing guard for St. Mary's School students.
She was an avid Bingo player and her spunky personality always made people laugh and feel loved.
She was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by; two daughters, Susan M. Pospiech and Nancy Pospiech and Bub (Donald) Reed,
her son Stephen Pospiech all of Bath, NY; three grandchildren,
Jason, Kyle and Heather; four great grandchildren, Hailey, Tyler, Kaleb, Chasante and soon baby Clyde, nephew, Jack Gorcki and niece Sandra Shea.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, son Albert and brother John Gorcki.
Family and friends are invited to call at Fagan's Funeral Home on Friday March 17th from 4:00-6:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm with Father Jim Jaeger officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath, in the spring.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to the nationalmssociety.org, the American heart association at heart.org and ArcofSteuben.org
