Seleta Ann Smith, age 74 passed away September 19 th , 2021 following a long illness. She was born in Bath, NY. She was the daughter of Russell and Harriet (Bates) Haley. Seleta was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She retired from the Steuben County Healthcare Facility after 32 years as a LPN. She was an awesome grandmother, an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed bowling. She is survived by her sons, Richard (Kim) Smith, John (Dorothy) Smith and Aaron (Dallas) Smith; grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Courtney, Zack, Taylor, Matthew and Jaxson; great grandchildren, Tanner, Harper and Emerson; brother, Ted (Debbie) Haley; sisters, Severina Weeks and Marita Quigley along with several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by lifelong friend, Goldie Khork, beloved Ya- Ya sisters and many co-worker friends. Seleta was predeceased by her parents; her son, Charles Smith; brother, Kevin Haley and sister, Juanit Cody. Family and friends are invited to visitation at Kanona Methodist Church on Saturday, October 2 nd , 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Funeral service immediately following.
