Shirley Grist, age 72, of Bath, NY died Saturday, March 19, 2022.
She was born in Kanona, NY on January 25, 1950, the daughter of James and Helen (Shugars) Blankenship.
Shirley worked at the Campbell-Savona School Cafeteria and was also a Bus Monitor.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and especially enjoyed traveling, camping and going to Casinos with her family.
She also loved going to luncheons with her girlfriends.
She was a member of the Kanona Methodist Church. Shirley is survived by her husband Myron E. Grist Jr. of Bath; daughters, Michelle (Rick) Salisbury and Brenda Montgomery both of Bath, NY; grandchildren, David and Tyler Sheehan and Kayla and Paige Montgomery; great granddaughters, Layla Sheehan and Shelby Meyer, her sister, Patricia (Bill) Schoonover and sister-in-law, Sharon Blankenship.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Jacqueline Grist, her parents and brothers, Richard and Jim F. Blankenship. A graveside service will be held at Nondaga Cemetery, Bath, NY on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
