Stanley O'Brochta, age 78, of Avoca, NY, died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Taylor Health Center, Bath, NY.
He was born August 14, 1935 in Bath, NY the son of Stanley and Anna Remchuck O'Brochta.
Mr. O'Brochta was a retired Truck Driver and worked for John Ferris Trucking in Bath.
He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He also was a Fireman in Howard, NY years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Florence O'Brochta, daughter, Peggy (Rick) Palmer and two sons; Edward O'Brochta (Salone McGarvey)of Avoca, NY and Jeffrey (Tammy) Obrochta, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 10:00am -12:00pm at Fagan's Funeral
Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.
A memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Dave Lafortune officiating.
