Stephanie Dian Gottschall, age 36, died February 27th, 2026, in Bath, NY.

Stephanie grew up and lived in Bath, NY. Stephanie graduated from Ithaca College, Magna Cum Laude, in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science, and again in 2013 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Stephanie worked as a physical therapist at Taylor’s Nursing Home, Kindred At Home, and The VNA. She married her best friend in 2017 at their home in Bath and the pair later welcomed their daughter Olive in 2024.

Stephanie was an avid reader, loved hiking, taking camping trips, and relaxing on her patio with friends and family.

Stephanie is survived by her loving husband David Gottschall, daughter Olive Judith Gottschall, mother Dian Franklin, father Timothy Forester, brother Michael Franklin, sisters Jennifer Forester and Jessica Billings as well as many other friends, family, and her dogs Marla and Greta, her cats, Blue and Bandit.

Calling hours will be held at Fagan’s Funeral Home in Bath, NY on March 6th, 2026, 4pm to 6pm.
