Susie Ann Divens

Susie Ann Divens, age 70, received her angel wings on Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Elderwood of Hornell. She was born August 23, 1948 in Bath, NY the daughter of the late James W. and Pearl (Dickerman) Divens. Susie was the most caring person. She worked as a Home Health Aide for many years locally. She had a heart of gold and would give anything she could to those in need. Susie enjoyed going to flea markets and having yard sales with her favorite niece Pam. She donated what she could to several different foundations all her life.
She is survived by three sons; Vernon, Eddie and John and two grandchildren all of Arizona, her sister Kathleen Prescott of Bradford; nieces, Edna Reeves and Debbie Prescott; nephews, Matthew D. (Pam) Prescott and Floyd (Tina) Divens all of Bath, NY and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers; Francis J., James W. 'Junior', Robert H. and Kenny Divens.
At her request there will be no services. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 72 Cameron St. Bath, NY 14810 and the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org/support .
