Viola Katherine Russell, age 94, of Bath, NY, died
Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Health Care of Bath, NY.
She was born in Bath, July 5, 1921 the daughter of Jesse and Nellie (McKenzie) Palmer.
Mrs. Russell worked in the local vineyards for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 76 years on April 21, 2016.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three sons, Paul (Karen) Russell of Beverly Hills, FL, Earl (Ruby) Russell of Bath, NY and Keith (Denise) Russell of Tupelo, MS, ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her 2 sisters and four brothers.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath from 1:00-2:00 pm.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Barre Butts officiating.
Burial will be in Mitchellesville Cemetery, Bath.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to the Mitchellesville United Methodist Church, 8421 County Rte 13, Bath, NY 14810.
