Virginia J. Ames from Bath, NY died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday January 3, 2015 at the age of 86.
Born June 18, 1928 in Woodhull, NY she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ames; her son Gary Storms; and her daughter, Julie Woolever.
Survivors include her sister Alberta Seaward and her children; Raymond Storms, Beverly Hough, William Storms (Barb), James Storms (Sharon), Sheila Wells, Rowland Storms (Pamela), Karen Smith (Allen), and Diane Weatherford (Robert).
She is also survived by several grandchildren; Donna Smith, Steven Rumsey, Shelley Peterson, Douglas Hough, Sarah Staskiewicz, Rebecca Storms, David Storms, Joseph Storms,
Jennifer Hall, Brian Storms, Mindy Storms,
Gary Storms, Robert Woolever, Bill Woolever, Kelly Woolever,
Shane
Jensen and Jessica Jensen along with nineteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her family, she leaves behind three very special friends; Minnie Hargraves, Louise Osbourne, and Darlene Hamilton.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday January 15th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, NY with a short memorial service immediately after. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Virginia's life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association.
