William J. Schwingel, age 73, of Bath, NY died August 9, 2018 at home. He was born in Bath, NY on May 31, 1945, the son of Richard and Leah (Bancroft) Schwingel. Bill was an US Army Veteran. He retired from the NAPA Store in Bath after many years of service. He was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 in Bath.
He is survived by his son-in-law, James Seager and three gradchildren, Chancy Seager, Leah Seager and Darren Rossman Jr. He was predeceased by his wife Susan Schwingel and two daughters, Sherri Rossman and Brandi Seager.
A Celebration of Life for both Bill and Sue Schwingel will be held on September 16, 2018 from 1:00-6:00 pm at their residence, 7859 County Route 13, Bath, NY 14810.
